Fanelia is the kingdom in The Vision of Escaflowne that maintains the ancient Ispano Clan traditions and bloodline connection to the Escaflowne Guymelef. Van Fanel is its prince. Fanelia contrasts with Asturia’s knightly ideals and Zaibach’s technological ambition.
