Aldnoah.Zero is the first season of the Aldnoah.Zero anime (July–September 2014). After an attack on Princess Asseylum during a diplomatic mission to Earth, the Vers Empire and its Orbital Knights launch a new assault. Terran students and soldiers, including Inaho Kaizuka, must use Kataphrakts and tactics to counter Martian Aldnoah-powered mecha. The series established the franchise’s emphasis on tactical combat and political intrigue.
