Yuzo Takaya
Yuzo Takaya is the admiral in Gunbuster who commanded the deep space fleet Luxion, destroyed by Space Monsters in 2015. His death drives his daughter Noriko Takaya to enrol at Okinawa Girls’ Space Pilot High School and become a pilot. Noriko’s journey from trainee to pilot of the Gunbuster forms the emotional core of the series.
