The Space Bus was a short-range personnel transport vessel produced by both the Earth Federation and Principality of Zeon for transporting crew between colonies and space installations.
History
The Earth Federation and Principality of Zeon developed the Space Bus for transporting personnel across short distances in space, particularly between colonies and military installations. After the One Year War, these vessels continued to see widespread use by various organisations including the Anti-Earth Union Group and Neo Zeon, as well as civilian operators.
Design
The Space Bus was designed specifically for short-range personnel transport in space environments. While the Federation and Zeon versions differed in external appearance, they shared similar basic design principles and functionality. The vessel was equipped with rocket thrusters for propulsion and basic navigation sensors.
Its primary role was to ferry crews between locations within colonies or military bases, as well as between neighbouring colonies and space installations. The simple but practical design proved highly effective for its intended purpose of routine personnel transport.
