Sousuke Sagara is the protagonist of the Full Metal Panic franchise. A Mithril sergeant and former child soldier, he is assigned to protect Kaname Chidori—a Whispered—at Jindai High School. He pilots the ARX-7 Arbalest and later the ARX-8 Laevatein. His military mindset leads to constant friction and comedy in civilian life. He appears across Full Metal Panic!, Fumoffu, The Second Raid, and Invisible Victory.
