SDEX STTS-909 Rising Freedom Gundam miniaturises the Seed Freedom protagonist suit into the SD Gundam EX-Standard format while preserving the transformation, boomerang shield, and cross-compatibility weapon pack.¹

Overview

Bandai positions the kit as an affordable companion to the HGCE hero unit: the chibi silhouette keeps the HiMAT-inspired backpack and railgun motifs, and the combined backpack weapon can be handed off to 1/144 kits for shared display options.¹

Features

Two-mode build: Simple parts rearrangement converts the Rising Freedom into its Mobile Armor configuration, letting the SD frame mirror the movie’s flight sequences.¹
Weapon-sharing backpack: The beam rifle, shield boomerang, and backpack elements dock together into a composite accessory sized for High Grade hands, extending play value beyond the SD scale.¹
Dual sabre loadout: Twin sabres couple into a double-blade effect, complementing the shield boomerang for close-quarters posing.¹

Build experience

Engineering favours quick assembly: ball-jointed limbs cover the standard SD articulation range while leaving enough clearance to mount the MA adapter. Expect light colour separation that benefits from panel-lining or paint to bring out armour vents and cannon details.¹
