Raiden Shuga

Raiden Shuga (ライデン・シュガ) is the vice-commander of Spearhead Squadron in 86 -Eighty-Six-, a veteran Eighty-Six Processor with the personal name Wehrwolf. With years of combat experience and four years on the Eastern Front, he serves as both second-in-command and the squad’s big-brother figure.

Towering and muscular with greenish steel hair and matching eyes, Raiden is marked by scars over his right eyebrow and left cheek. Beneath his blunt attitude he is fiercely protective of his comrades, willing to challenge orders and even Shinei Nouzen himself if it means keeping the squad alive. His balance of emotional insight and battlefield pragmatism makes him one of the few people able to stand beside Shin over the long term.
