Machine Caliber
Machine Calibers are the military mecha of the Gargantia on the Verdurous Planet franchise. Used by the Galactic Alliance of Humankind, they are equipped with artificial intelligence that supports the pilot and can communicate in language. Chamber and Striker are the main Machine Calibers in the series; Chamber’s relationship with pilot Ledo is central to the story. They use artificial gravity sinks for flight and operate in space, atmosphere, and underwater.
