Londenion

Londenion (ロンデニオン, Rondenion) was a space colony in the Earth Sphere that hosted a peace conference between the Earth Federation and Neo Zeon in UC 0093. The conference and the colony feature in Mobile Suit Gundam: Char’s Counterattack, where Char Aznable and Amuro Ray briefly meet again and Quess Paraya and Hathaway Noa are introduced into the conflict.

Role in Char’s Counterattack

Londenion was chosen as a neutral venue for negotiations between the Federation and Neo Zeon. The conference quickly revealed Char’s true intentions and the fragility of the ceasefire. Key characters including Adenauer Paraya (Quess’s father), Quess, and Hathaway are present at or around the colony, and the colony setting establishes the political backdrop before Fifth Luna is dropped on Lhasa and open war resumes.

Behind the scenes

Londenion was created for Mobile Suit Gundam: Char’s Counterattack as the setting for the film’s opening political sequence.
