HGCE STTS-909 Rising Freedom Gundam translates Kira’s Seed Freedom mobile suit into the High Grade Cosmic Era lineup with deployable HiMAT wings, Hyper Impulse guns, and a streamlined MA conversion system.1
Overview
Built on the SEED Action System frame, the kit balances aerial silhouette and gimmick density: the backpack spreads into HiMAT mode for high-mobility poses, while the railguns and beam cannons tuck away cleanly for conventional display. Bandai positions the Rising Freedom as the hero counterpart to the Immortal Justice in the January 2024 retail wave.

Build experience
The modern HGCE geometry delivers wide shoulder and hip articulation, sliding junctions for the thighs, and clearance in the skirts so the railguns can swing without hindering waist rotation. Expect tight tolerances around the backpack hinges—test-fit before locking the wing pylons to retain smooth deployment.1
