Cheimin Noa
Daughter of Bright and Mirai Noa; younger sister of Hathaway Noa.
Cheimin Noa (チェーミン・ノア, Chēmin Noa) was the daughter of Bright Noa and Mirai Yashima and the younger sister of Hathaway Noa. She appears in Mobile Suit Gundam: Char’s Counterattack and is referenced in the Gryps Conflict era when the Titans kidnapped Bright’s family, including Mirai, Hathaway, and Cheimin, to pressure the AEUG.
Role
In UC 0093, Adenauer Paraya encountered Mirai Yashima, Cheimin, and Hathaway Noa whilst they were attempting to travel to space. Adenauer had commandeered three seats but allowed Hathaway to board the shuttle to Side 1 as a favour, whilst Mirai and Cheimin remained behind. Cheimin is thus part of the Noa family dynamic that frames Hathaway’s involvement in the Second Neo Zeon War.
Relationships
Cheimin was the younger of Bright and Mirai’s two children. Her brother Hathaway stowed away on the Ra Cailum during the conflict and was deeply affected by the war; Cheimin stayed with her mother in the civilian sphere.
Behind the scenes
Cheimin Noa was created for the Mobile Suit Gundam franchise to complete Bright’s family unit; she appears in Char’s Counterattack and is mentioned in connection with the Argama kidnapping plot during Zeta Gundam.
