Atlantis is the fallen civilisation in The Vision of Escaflowne whose technology underpins Gaea. Their ability to turn thought into energy led to ruin. The Ispano Clan inherited their knowledge and built Escaflowne and Energist use. Zaibach and Emperor Dornkirk seek that same power.
