Anton Flanagan
Pioneer of Newtype research and founder of the Flanagan Institute.
Anton Flanagan (アントン・フラナガン, *Anton Furanaganu) was born in UC 0009, the same year as Zeon Zum Deikun. He became a pioneer of Newtype research and is credited with founding the Flanagan Institute, a Newtype research facility operated by the Principality of Zeon.
Biography
Born in UC 0009, Anton Flanagan grew up during the early years of space colonisation. His research into Newtype phenomena led to the establishment of the Flanagan Institute, which became the Principality of Zeon’s primary facility for Newtype research and development during the One Year War.
The Flanagan Institute’s work contributed to the development of Newtype-focused mobile suits and weapons systems, including research into Cyber-Newtype enhancement programmes.
Legacy
The Flanagan Institute became one of the most significant research organisations in the Universal Century, with its name continuing to appear in later conflicts involving Newtype research.
