The AEU-09 AEU Enact (AEUイナクト, AEU Inakuto) was a mass-production mobile suit developed by the Advanced European Union (AEU) in the Anno Domini timeline. The AEU Enact featured transformation capabilities and high-speed performance, serving as the AEU’s primary mobile suit during Celestial Being’s armed interventions.

The “AEU” designation indicated an Advanced European Union mobile suit, whilst the “09” model number denoted its development sequence. The Enact’s design was influenced by the Union Flag, reflecting the competitive development environment between the major power blocs.

History

The AEU Enact was developed in Anno Domini 2292 as the AEU’s response to the Union Flag, incorporating similar transformation capabilities and high-speed performance. The mobile suit was designed to match or exceed the Union Flag’s capabilities, ensuring that the AEU remained competitive with other power blocs.

The AEU Enact was deployed extensively by the AEU military, participating in operations and military exercises throughout the world. The mobile suit’s capabilities were tested when Celestial Being began its armed interventions, as AEU Enact units attempted to counter the organisation’s Gundams, though they proved unable to match the Gundams’ superior technology.

The AEU Enact continued to serve as the AEU’s primary mobile suit even after the introduction of GN technology, with many units upgraded to utilise GN Tau Drives. The mobile suit’s design influenced later mobile suit development and served as the basis for improved variants.

Design

The AEU Enact featured a design similar to the Union Flag, optimised for high-speed combat and transformation capabilities. The mobile suit’s transformation system allowed it to reconfigure into a fighter-like mode for enhanced speed and manoeuvrability, making it effective in aerial operations.

Armaments

The AEU Enact’s standard weapons were the Linear Rifle for ranged attacks and the Plasma Sword for melee combat.

The AEU Enact was equipped with a Linear Rifle that utilised linear acceleration technology to fire projectiles at high velocity. The weapon provided effective firepower against enemy mobile suits and was well-suited to high-speed combat operations.

Plasma Sword

The AEU Enact carried a Plasma Sword stored on its waist, providing melee combat capabilities. The weapon utilised plasma technology to create a cutting blade effective in close combat.
