Yuta Hibiki

Yuta Hibiki (響 裕太) is the male protagonist of SSSS.Gridman. A 15-year-old high school student with amnesia, he wakes in the digital city Tsutsujidai and is chosen as the human host for Gridman, the giant hero who fights kaiju in this virtual world.

With Rikka Takarada and the Gridman Alliance, Yuta helps Gridman intervene in battles that are tied to Akane Shinjo’s psyche—the series reveals that Tsutsujidai and the kaiju are manifestations of Akane’s trauma. His role as host is central to the show’s theme of “Special Signature to Save a Soul”: saving Akane through connection rather than destruction.
