Yomogi Asanaka

Yomogi Asanaka (麻中 蓬) is the protagonist of SSSS.Dynazenon. A first-year high school student, he meets the mysterious Gauma, a “Kaiju User,” and is drawn into battles against kaiju as one of the four pilots of the giant robot Dynazenon, alongside Gauma, Koyomi Yamanaka, and Yume Minami.

Yomogi’s arc centres on his parents’ divorce and learning to rely on others; piloting Dynazenon and fighting the Kaiju Eugenicists with his new allies ties into the series’ themes of connection and healing, in line with the Gridman Universe focus on “Special Signature to Save a Soul.”
