Tetsujin 28-go (live-action)

The live-action Tetsujin 28-go television series is the first screen adaptation of Tetsujin 28-go, using suitmation and miniature effects to depict Tetsujin 28 and its battles. It follows Shotaro Kaneda as he works with Professor Shikishima and Inspector Otsuka to keep the giant robot from falling into criminal hands.

Although less widely remembered than later anime versions, the show helped establish the visual language of giant robots in live-action Japanese television.
