RG Shining Gundam brings Domon Kasshu’s Mobile Fighter from Mobile Fighter G Gundam into the Real Grade line — and with it, the line’s engineering answer to a machine defined by martial-arts motion and mid-battle transformation.

Design and features

Neo Japan’s entry in the 13th Gundam Fight was built by Dr. Mikamura for close combat, mirroring Domon’s own fighting techniques. The RG reproduces its emotion-driven mode changes: Battle Mode deploys the face and arm covers for the Shining Finger, while Super Mode opens armour sections across the entire frame for maximum output. The parts transformation is engineered so both display states hold cleanly.

Weapons and gimmicks

The head vulcans, beam sabres, and — the point of the whole exercise — the Shining Finger, with a dedicated open-hand effect for the franchise’s most quotable attack. The RG frame’s range of motion finally lets a kit throw convincing martial-arts poses: high kicks, palm strikes, and the iconic finger thrust.
