PLANT Supreme Council

The PLANT Supreme Council (プラント最高評議会, Puranto Saikō Hyōgi Kai) was the governing body of the PLANTs during the Cosmic Era. Based in the City of Aprilius, it served as the political leadership of the Coordinators throughout the Alliance-PLANT Wars.
Overview
The PLANT Supreme Council was responsible for governing the space colonies and directing ZAFT’s military strategy during both the First and Second Alliance-PLANT Wars. Its composition shifted dramatically depending on the political leadership of the era.
History
Siegel Clyne Era
Under Chairman Siegel Clyne, the PLANT Supreme Council pursued a relatively moderate course, seeking diplomatic solutions to the escalating tensions with the Earth Alliance.
Patrick Zala Era
Following Siegel Clyne’s removal, Patrick Zala assumed leadership and pursued an aggressive military strategy against the Earth Alliance. His hardline policies included the use of nuclear weapons and the Genesis superweapon, leading to the final battle at Jachin Due.
Gilbert Durandal Era
During the Second Alliance-PLANT War, Gilbert Durandal became Chairman and introduced the Destiny Plan — a controversial proposal to assign roles to individuals based on their genetic predispositions. His administration ultimately fell following the Campaign Against LOGOS and the destruction of the Requiem superweapon.
