The MS-05S Zaku I Commander Type a commander variant of the MS-05B Zaku Iproduced by the Principality of Zeon.
History
The MS-05S Zaku I Commander Type was a modified MS-05B Zaku Ithat was customised specially for Lieutenant Commander Garret Schmitzer, founder and leader of the Midnight Fenrir Corps. The Corps was an elite unit created by Admiral Kycilia Zabi.
Design
The MS-05S Zaku I Commander Type wa very similar to the MS-05B Zaku I.
The Zaku I Commander Type had armour on both shoulders compared to one on the Zaku I. It was also equipped with a new shield that was mounted with the heat sabre use dby the MS-07B Gouf.
Armaments
The standard weapons used by the Zaku I Commander Type were a ranged weapon and a heat sabre for melee combat.
90 mm machine gun
The MMP-80 90 mm machine gun was the primary weapon of the Zaku I Commander Type. It was fed from a clip of 32 rounds and spare clips were stored in the mobile suit’s waist armour.
880 mm bazooka
The 880 mm Raketen bazooka was an artillery armament designed to deal moderate damage. It was clip-fed with five rounds per clip. Spare clips were stored in the waist armour of the mobile suit.
Three-tube missile launcher
The three-tube missile launcher was used against enemy ships. It carried only three missiles so the pilot had to use them wisely in combat.
Shield and heat sabre
The Zaku I Commander Type could equip a shield that had a heat sabre sheathed inside it. The heat sabre was designed for use by the MS-07B Gouf.
