HG GQuuuuuuX

HG GQuuuuuuX is the flagship 1/144 kit for Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX, the Studio Khara × Sunrise series that launched with the theatrical compilation GQuuuuuuX -Beginning- in January 2025. The kit hit shelves the same week the film opened, giving builders the gMS-Ω GQuuuuuuX piloted by Amate Yuzuriha — “Machu” — in the underground Clan Battle circuit.

Design and features

The GQuuuuuuX’s asymmetric, angular design translates into one of the most distinctive HG silhouettes in years. Bandai’s modern HG engineering carries it: crisp colour separation across the white, red, and black scheme with minimal stickers, wide hip and shoulder articulation for the series’ acrobatic fight choreography, and clear parts for the beam sabre. The proportions capture the anime’s lanky, forward-leaning stance straight off the runner.

As the lead kit of a new series line, it shares the pricing sweet spot of recent HGs — standard retail, widely reprinted, and an ideal first kit for anyone pulled into Gunpla by the show.

Who it’s for

New builders starting with the current series, and collectors keeping pace with the GQuuuuuuX line as Bandai expands it (Char’s Custom Zaku, the Gelgoog variants, and squad-colour Rick Doms are already in the range).
