Hasegawa Yuichi
Japanese manga artist who created Mobile Suit Crossbone Gundam.
Hasegawa Yuichi (長谷川裕一, Hasegawa Yuichi, born 25 April 1961) is a Japanese manga artist who created and illustrated Mobile Suit Crossbone Gundam, expanding the Universal Century timeline into the Jupiter sphere and continuing the story of Seabook Arno (as Kincade Nau) after Mobile Suit Gundam F91. His work established Jupiter sphere conflicts as significant part of UC history.
Mobile Suit Crossbone Gundam
Working with Tomino Yoshiyuki, Hasegawa created Crossbone Gundam manga featuring:
- Tobia Arronax as new protagonist
- Bernadette Briett as fellow pilot
- Seabook and Cecily as mentor figures
- Jupiter Empire as antagonist
- Multiple sequel series expanding the story
His manga demonstrated that UC timeline could support compelling stories beyond anime productions.
