Tales of Byston Well: Garzey's Wing

Tales of Byston Well: Garzey’s Wing (1995–1997) is the five-volume novel series representing the earliest chronological point in the Byston Well timeline. It focuses on Chris Senshu, a half-Japanese, half-American student whose spirit is transported to Byston Well whilst his body remains on Earth—a dual-existence narrative that influenced later isekai. Set in a more primitive Byston Well without Aura Battlers. An OVA adaptation followed (1996–1997).
