Dogū
Dogū are ancient Japanese clay figurines from the Jōmon period. In the Planet With franchise, the Grand Paladin’s Psychokinetic Photon Armor designs by Yoshitsune Izuna and Yasuyoshi Uetsu deliberately evoke the Dogū aesthetic, making the human units appear ancient and rigid in contrast to the organic, animal-inspired alien mecha.
