Colorata
The Colorata are the racial minorities in the 86 -Eighty-Six- franchise who are stripped of names, citizenship, and humanity by the Republic of San Magnolia. Confined to the Eighty-Sixth Sector, they are forced to pilot Juggernauts against the Legion whilst the silver-haired Alba majority maintains the fiction of a war without casualties. The Federal Republic of Giad offers a path toward equality. The term “Eighty-Six” refers to these oppressed pilots.
