Aura Battler Dunbine (1983–1984) is the foundational 49-episode television series of the Aura Battler Dunbine franchise. Created by Tomino Yoshiyuki; mechanical designers Kazutaka Miyatake and Izubuchi Yutaka. Japanese motorcyclist Shou Zama is summoned to Byston Well to pilot Aura Battlers in the war driven by Drake Luft. The series pioneered the isekai premise and blended medieval fantasy with bio-mechanical mecha. Aired on Nagoya TV.
