Side 8 was a single colony at Lagrangian Point L1. It was home to a large agricultural research lab.
The colony shared the Lagrangian Point with Side 2.
History
Side 8 was a neutral colony with a large agricultural research lab that sought to improve the agricultural output in space. It was constructed in June UC 203 by the Earth Federation. After the collapse of the Federation in UC 218, Side 8 gained independence.
Members of the CONSENT suffered a food shortage crisis in UC 0223 and attacked Side 8 to seize new bioluminescent energy source that would end the food crisis. The colony was damaged as a result of the conflict.
