Space Launch

The Space Launch was a space transport shuttle produced by the Earth Federation.

History

The Earth Federation ferried personnel in space with the Space Launch. It also functioned as a lifeboat when people had to abandon space ships or structures such as colonies.

The White Base crashed on the Principality of Zeon space fortress A Baoa Qu on 31 December 31 UC 0079 during the final battle of the One Year War. The crew evacuated on space launches before the ship exploded.

Both the Federation and AEUG used a variant in UC 0087.

Design

The Space Launch was a shuttle designed for transporting small groups of people across short distances, usually between spaceships and colonies or military bases.

Behind the scenes

Kunio Okawara was the original mechanical designer. Yasuo Ohtagaki designed the version in the Mobile Suit Gundam Thunderbolt manga.
